We invite administrators from professional performance ensembles that focus on classical, jazz, world music, etc. to join us for facilitated discussion around creating more ethical and equitable audience development & fundraising practices.

This year, our goal is to create action plan and work with our cohort to create a plan that will set a national standard for a more equitable and ethical system and help administrators leverage their collective power to create sustainable change.

Nora Segura-Barpal

Music Inclusion Coalition, Executive Director | Co-Founder

Nora Segura-Barpal (She/Her) graduated from New York University with her M.A. in performing arts administration in May 2020. During her time she focused on fundraising and marketing. After graduating, she co-founded the Music Inclusion Coalition (MIC) in order to address inequities in collegiate music programs. In May 2021 she moved to San Francisco where she is currently Director of Individual Giving for New Conservatory Theatre Center.

Nora has led 2 national conferences on equity & inclusion in collegiate music programs with cohorts including Yale College of Music, Colburn Conservatory, The Juilliard School, and more. Click here for more information on those conferences.
